Blog 7/20/09: Blue Vest
So last night, I started draping a vest & this is what it looks like so far. It's not sewn together yet, its just pinned for now. I'm going to add some pleating detail to the front, some buttons and maybe pockets?
**The black ribbon is not part of the vest, it's just serving as a substitute for now.

Vogue China August 2009
Vogue China did a section called "Scientific Glamour" for August 2009. I love the clothing but I think they could've used a better model. Not all models are meant for editorial shoots, some are just better off on the runway.

So MUCH to Do......So Little time to DO IT
Sooo apparently, my boyfriend's (yes, i have a new boyfriend now) stepmother use to sew. I saw the sewing machine in their basement && they were about to throw it out!!! Luckily, it had the piece that I was missing from mine, so he gave it to me && NOW I CAN SEWWWW!!!!! woooooo!! I havent sewed in like 4389754785 years. I miss it sooo effinnn much. So i'm gona get back into it either tonight or tomorrow, whenever i get inspired to make something. I'll be sure to post pictures once I start completing things.

Blog: 7/15/09 First Day of Work
So today was my first day at Justice. If you don't know it's a very trendy cute clothing store for girls. Like little girls. I had a pretty easy day, everyone's nice and sweet and the job is so effin easy... All i do, (well for now) is put sensors on clothing and hang them & fold them. I just wish I had more hours. I'm trying to save up for a new wardrobe and a car, and college all at once. Kinda hard to do that with a $7.25/hr salary and only working about 16 hours a week. But oh well, at least I finally have a job and I'm finally getting experience in retail.
....that's all for now, i'll post some fashion goods tomorrow..

Blog 07/10/09
I've been feeling very uninspired lately. I've been slacking GREATLY with fashion. I haven't made anything or even sketched since school ended. I think the reason for that is, is that I'm stuck in this house allll efffinnn day. I don't start working at my job (Justice Just For Girls) until Wednesday. I think I need to get out of this town & just take a day trip to New York or something.
In other news, I'm thinking about changing my hairstyle. It's just too plain & average. I've been wanting something bold for a while now, but I just recently found a cute hairstyle that I think would look good on me. Here's a pic of LaLa, and if you scroll down, you'll see another chick with a similar style..
ISN'T IT SOOO CUTEEE??? lol I've showed some people t get their input && they thought I was crazy to even think it was cute. But idc what they say, I like it & that's all that matters, right?
